Hey guy what's up again?

Well the last time I posted I was putting 280 cams in my 95 Eclipse, well I droped them in and didn't like the end result with the turbo I am currently running (EvoIII B16g) so I put some HKS 264's in. I went to have a buddy tune it and found out I have a bad knock sensor, So i ordered one today. To the topic at hand though, I noticed that when i whomp on the gas pedal the car lags it almost feels like its spitting, anyone have any idea what this might be?

Edit: it sputters or "spits" around the 4,500+RPM range

hmm well should be cause around 4k it goes into open loop and there are not fuel trims or ecu to comp and you might need more fuel cause of the added air flow from the cams i had to do this after a turbo upgrade was to much knock and was way to lean was like hitting a wall

Have you replaced the knock sensor yet? Or still running around with the bad one?

No I should be getting the knock sensor around the 29th, so for now im still running around with the bad one, and I can't re-tune until I get it in.

The reason it's spitting is because of the bad knock sensor. It's pulling timing when it really shouldn't be, so you're car is sluggish. Get the new one in and you'll be good to go.
