You realize they purposely mislabeled their cams to make them seem as if they out perform others in the same category right. k272's are larger then all other brands 280's. Extremely misleading and sneaky.
Were'd you get this information from, the interwebs
What makes you think their mislabeled, have you ever read one of their spec cards? According to their spec cards, they have 272 duration at the specified lift. So yes, they are labelled properly. The problem isn't with their cams, the problem is the way cams are labelled in the industry. The "264", "272", "280" designation doesn't really mean anything as far as the cam profile goes. These duration specs are at such a low lift, that they really don't mean anything. Thats why different "272's" can perform completely different.
Kelfords have more duration, more lift & a more aggressive ramp rate vs the BC cams, thats what makes them a "better" cam, not that their mislabeled.
I have not doubt you can make power on the BC cams, but there are much better profiles out there. The old saying you get what you pay for is usually the case. The other issue with BC is it seems alot of the time you need to purchase cam gears, just to get the performance your expecting as they need to be degreed to match cam card specs. It seems pretty common that Kelfords can be dropped right in without needed to be degree'd as they typically match the cam card when installed straight up, something that doesn't seem to be the case for BC.
