Ok so I have had my GSX for a little while now, just recently I went from booting 11psi to about 7-9psi daily. I am a newb thats learning these engines as ive only own n/t's before this.
So I did my research, went out and built a boost leak tester and gave it a go. From what I was able to look over I think I have found 3 boost leaks. Since I already said im a newb im not gonna try to explain it, Ill post a picture. I have circled the areas of the leaks and numbered them.
Leak #1: The biggest buy far, air seems to be rusing out about a half inch below the red clip
Leak #2: Not alot of ait but when I wet the engine down I get LOTS of bubbles.
Leak #3: Right behined the rubber tube there is a small brown colored circle, its not a screw but looks like something that plugs whole, very little leaking but it does bubble.
My car is mostly sotck with just an axle back "aftermarket" tip from the previous owner, K&N Filter, and an autometer boost gague. Also, I was unable to feel any shaft play at all for the turbo. Any help would help at all. ie what should i to stop these, none of these leaks are just cracks in the tubing nothing simple like that. Thanks in advance
