My ball joint broke + Cv Axel

Ok, So my ball joint broke and I got it towed to the only mistsubishi dealership in the state.
I told them, I knew about the recall, So they told me to give them my VIN . They checked it out and told me to bring it in.They told me that my CV axel broke, and that they need some kind of tech needed to look at it to see if Mistsu was gonna pay for it or what.
Three days later I'm still waiting! Do y'all think that they should fix it?.
I was backing out of the drive way and it broke less that 2 miles on hour.(thank god)
And it was they lower lateral control arm's ball joint i think.

Ok so no one cares, but it turns out that they are doing the ball joint for free! and they are paying for the Cv axel! But I gotta pay them 135 to put it in which isn't that bad.
But today they called me to tell me that I have ATF in my tranny!!! and it is not a Auto!They said it will destroy my tranny they wanted another 130 to drain it ! I told them no thanks that I would take care of it my self, But who puts ATF in a stick anyways!

The atf auto trans fluid will be fine. I don't think you should pay for labor on the recall.

Knowing the way mitsu is about these things, he's lucky, very lucky that they're paying for anything other than the LCA. I'd gladly fork out $135 for them to replace both the axle, the LCA and install them. Even if there is some hidden cost involved, such as somehow finding $135 of labor in putting in an axle when they most likely have to already have it apart for the LCA installation anyhow.

Yeah, I think 135 ain't bad at all since they are paying for my new axel! But they straight up said " ATF will DESTROY my tranny" My friend who is a mechanic at a Volvo dealership said that are probably just trying to upscale and make a bit of extra money. ( most likely).

atf wont kill the tranny, infact srt-4's call for atf with additive for the lsd in them, so its not true

Yeah they are just trying to make a few extra dollars. The atf-4 is safe, i have been useing it for a few years now with no problems..
