Are there any more updated photos on the Valve Cover? I was planning on doing something similar but I dont trust my friend with the welding aluminum.

someone can kick me if he answered this already, but is the new valve cover design to conpensate for the increased lift of the cams at all, or anything like.

Or are the raised walls there to help with sealing?

Ok, I wanna know some stuff as well... first off, which TB is it? since last time I checked Acufab they dont have anything that looks like it could work for a 420A. Next, what are you going to do about the TPS?

The vavle cover will help with the increased lift of the cams BUT (not the cams i have now)
if the furture i plan on running a set of Darrell cox racing turbo cams spacifaley desinged for the 420a, the reason why i did not get the was because there very $ at 1300+ and require more custom valve train parts which i do not want to wait on right now.
The increased walls will help with the sealing too, because everyone knows that the stock valve cover loves to leak.

Im using an Accufab 90mm part # F90K http://www.accufabracing.com/throttle_bodies.htm#FORD

it is a 1986-1993 Ford 5.0 style TB. This is a Racing kit

Ill have to get back with you on what were going to do about the TPS but rom what we have been talking about...were might not use one at all

Look for turbo manifold pics very very soon !!!!!!!

<says like the devil> NOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep us updated on the TPS info... I'd like to know how you pull it off. 90mm is probably way oversized for my usage since my car is being built for Race/Daily but this info could help me decide on something I could use besides the puny 60mm over Sized Eclipse TB.

everything that is done to the trannie right now is how its staying.
When i run into problems ill go from there.

no one can really tell me what exactly needs to be addressed with the tranny and i talked to HAHN and they say there is nothing wrong with them they will hold up to high hp:confused:

so i guess ill find out through my own R&D

I can tell you about one hearty launch on my rebuilt tranny. Oddly enough the transmission was flawless. It was the differential that failed. It wasn't the pin out of the differential either. Some talked about that rotating out of place. Nope, I managed to grind the teeth off off the spider gears within the diff housing. I would cryo-treat your spider gears at the least. I don't know much about how it can be made stronger, I can only tell you thats what I blew up in my tranny.

not too shabby...was a twin scroll design utilized? Is the turbo oil and water cooled?

EDIT: are you gonna spray to aid in spool time?

Damn, that's a pretty sick looking manifold you got there. I assume it's going to be braced somehow?

Look back at some of the earlier posts... I belive its allready braced. If I'm correct it was braced before there was a manifold. He has a nifty tripod style thing bolted to the block holding the turbo... and they designed the manifold off of that... So I would asume that manifold could hold a turbo that weights probably as much as the engine.

I'm kind of curious how the front facia is going to look, with the tubo on one side, intercooller in the middle and the single radiator on the right (facing the car).

What type of plans do you and the shop have for how the front is going to look with where the turbo is at?

After I posted, I remembered I saw that brace earlier holding just the turbo up. Figured I would leave it anyways LOL.

you know what would look sick? I dont know if you guys remember that 1gB DSM that had like a one peice shell... and was fully aero dynamic like a Stock Car or Drag Car... which it was a drag car.... and I belive the turbo was stuck out the same way...
