Hey,
A few weeks ago...I saw in the local paper a 1990 Eclipse GST. Not the AWD I've been looking for, but I decided to take a look at it anyways. Really liked it a lot-Well taken care of and the price was cheap. I rushed into it and decided to buy it and I'm 100% satisfied and glad I did....of course I'd still rather have an AWD....but this will have to do.
I got it for $600! Couldnt pass it up. Needed about $300 worth of work to pass inspection-Exhaust manifold, CV boots, etc...
So $900 later, I had a awesome running 145k mile 1g turbo-Not bad! 140-145 Compression straight across. Runs awesome and very strong. Done the basic mods-3in exhaust, downpipe, high flow cat, k&n, mbc, boost guage, a/f guage, evo manifold, etc...
Also decided to do some interior mods: redline goods leather shift and brake boots, evo shift knob, evo recaro seats(only the drivers side is bolted in right now...waiting for rails/bracket for passenger side), sparco steering wheel, sparco 3pt harness, and 17in wheels/tires.
I also went to maaco and got them to paint it...they did the $500 paintjob for me and only charged me $270...lady told me she gave me the military discount
I've been in contact with Slowboy Racing...lookin to get some serious mods down for this daily driver. So, hopefully in a month everything will be done and it will be a monster daily driver!
Here are the pics!
Thanks for the space....sorry for all the pics!

. As for the rims, I'm not a real fan of the style, but the coloring is on the right track.
..
. Wedge Engineering in CA sells the rails and brackets but that was like an extra $200 in parts :thumbdown . And still the fitment isnt the best.
