Mufflers...

Hey everyone, just got my 3 inch downpipe put on the other day, now I'm looking in to what muffler I wanna run (can't deal with straight pipe allllll the time) I'll be running 3 inch piping all the way back with no cat, anyone wanna share any insight or videos on what their running?! Just looking for the muffler not catbacks...anyone with an hks, apexi n1 greddy ti-c or any other that sounds good feel free to chime in. Thanks guys

Magnaflow 3" inlet 4" outlet. thats what i have on my talon and it sounds amazing IMO. it has a real deep and growly note to it. ill try to make a vid for u tomorrow.

Vibrant 3inch single tip or dual tip, comes in polished or in stealth, I own the black stealth single tip and its not to loud but has a nice growl.

I'm planning on getting the Vibrant 1149 (3" inlet/dual 3" outlet). I'm so sick of my Apex'i muffler. 3" exhaust from turbo back and the Apex'i muffler drones really bad.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys, from videos ive seen I think I like the hks mufflers, I have a feeling everything is gonna be pretty bad with drone with no cat, hmmm maybe I should try running a resonator?!

With the stealth black muffler, does it come with any hangers attached? Did you have to weld on hangers? Did you have to recoat the muffler with high temp black pain after welding, if there was any?

You should try the dynomax by muffler. I have heard good things about it and seen videos of it. I was going to get that one but I already had the vibrant stealth dual 3 inch.

No hangers and I didn't have to recoat anything. Very quiet on a 3 inch catless exhaust system. I do run a vibrant resonator as well and doesn't drone at all and I can talk comfortably in the cabin with my passengers.

I have a dynomax turbo back on my 1g, can't say I really like it. There's no real exhaust note or anything to it.

Okkk guys thanks for all the advice from everyone, I ended up ordering a magnaflow 3"in/4"out ss race muffler, soooo hopefully I'll get a nice tone out of that, anyone run a magnaflow with a resonator or maybe a glass pack of some kind and see how it sounds??

Oh and that double magnaflow exhaust sounds crazy, what is the # of the one in the back? Couldn't find anything like that

I agree with 90_tsi, i have the same muffler and Its not too quiet or too loud, i guess it depends on what you like. you should check out the hks carbon ti muffler, very expensive but worth it. IMO

Love the Vibrant StreetPower mufflers... Black, 3" inlet, 3" dual tip. Looks factory!

I've had good results with Borla Mufflers. Gives a nice deep tone
but not too loud especially during cruise.

How about a dynomax bullet as a resonator and a magnaflo muffler? That I imagine would sound mean when you go wot but stay quiet at idle and cruise.

I have the Tsudo catback and the Tsudo muffler. It kinda looks somewhat ricey to me but it sounds pretty good I think. Has like a 6"can and a 4" outlet .. haha.

Ok guys, went with the magnaflow 3" in 4" out muffler andddd my car is actually extremely quiet?! Lol

I'm talking like it's almost stock quiet, it's just got a smalllll rumble to it but can still hear motor over exaust. I just don't really get why it's this quiet with 3" all the way back no cat with just the muffler?? Anything wrong with this?
