n1 mufflers

Do those cheap n1 "style" mufflers sound like the real thing. I want an apexi catback and they dont make them for 1g fwds. So i was gunna get a 3in muffler with 3in piping back from the cat. i kinda would rather pay 70 dollars for a knock off that sounds real rather then the real thing that costs 170 . So are they comparable?

The MEGAN racing mufflers are cheap...And honestly I had one on my old car and I know many people have tried there other products and have nothing but good things to say...They're cheap, look nice, and it sounded really nice too

Most ebay muffler dont sound that great but i have a megam muffler and it sounds pretty good.

I wish Apexi made a turbo-back for the 1G FWd...I woulda bought that but no...they hate on the old FWD's.

when i did my exhaust at the shop, i had them put on the OBX version of the N1. my other freind has the real N1 muffler. they sound exactly the same. but mine was 200$ cheaper.

I had the OBX version of the N1 muffler on my old 2.5 inch exhaust and it sounded good.

Just wondering.... does anybody have any sounds of their exhausts or have a good link on where to get some?? I am facing the same problem on which exhaust to get, a knock off or the real thing... Thanks

^^^yeah really, no matter what you do(unless you put some 1.75" catback on it) its not gonna sound like rice. if its turbo, its always gonna have a low tone at cruising, but a loud roar at full boost and high rpm.

I'm going to be getting a 2.5 Thermal Turboback, and am wondering where I could get an N1 Style muffler? The muffler on the turboback is rusted pretty bad, and I like the looks of the N1.

ebay...You can pick one up for l ike 30 dollars for an n1 style. But for the real n1, thats like 150. I was wondering if anyone uses an1 style 3in from the catback, does ti sound any different then the 3in?
