I want to see about putting a super 44 series flowmaster muffler on my car but i have no idea how it would sound.. right now i have a 2 1/2 inch downpipe that goes to a 3in apexi system and is connected to a tsuedo muffler.. 3in inlet/5in outlet. The super 44 is 2 1/2in inlet and out let but if i was to do it i would use a 3in to 2 1/2in adapter.. has anybody done this or know of any videos?

I use a Magnaflow 3" in dual 3" out. I also utilize a mid muffler which is a 5" round diameter. Sound is amazing and I get many compliments on sound. Plus, it looks stock.

So would you recommend a magnaflow muffler like yours even for a N/T? I've heard that the N/T's are hard to keep from having a ricey fart can sound. I recently bought my 93 GS, and its got a horrendously ricey muffler on it. Sorry, i dont know what kind, the exhaust system that was on it when i purchased had a very nice sized hole in it, but the seller had an entire exhaust system he gave with the car that i installed, but i could not see what brand it was. soooo im looking to replace the muffler, and i really like the dual tip look. :thumb:
oh i also have no cat.
Thanks and sorry for my lack of knowledge.

They make great mufflers IMO, just make sure you keep some back pressure in your system. Perhaps a chambered muffler would be better than a race style.

With no n/a cars I always have ran them with just pipe and 1 resonater with no muffler. The mufflers always give it some high rattly rice sound you hear.

I am actually throwing in a cat today to pass emissions. I was planning on registering it a few hours away but i cant make the drive this weekend and my temps expire. So im throwing a magnaflow cat on today, and i hope it helps the ricey sound!

I had a Magnaflow on my old N/T and it sounded amazing, not raspy at all.
