PM Ajax (Christo) on here.. He has a conevrted 2g NT with the 420a that's running i believe a 50 trim, MS ECU and E85,,, He came down here for some tuning help and when we were done he was lighting up 3rd gear rolling on the throttle coming onto the main street from the interstate ramp..very impressive, bu8t the engine weas built to take it though

I've found nothing recent about running e-85 on a boosted 420a. If someone's got a link to anything recent, it would be greatly appreciated.

In terms of hardware, there isn't anything special you need done to your Megasquirt ECU. The difference between standard gasoline and E85 is all in the tuning.

If you'll be switching between E85 and standard gasoline frequently, though, you may look into table switching or a fuel composition sensor:

I probably should've mentioned what all I had read so far. I had about an 8 hour night, last night/this morning, reading into MSII and e-85 links.....and 99GST_Racer's compound setup. I won't lie. I spent more time on Racer's thread...I just wanted to see if anyone had ran e-85 on a boosted 420a, yet. And if anybody had what the results were....maybe possibly have some MSQ files to share...:sneaky: Thanks for the link though. I know I'd just need to save two sets of tables and run it as much out of gas as possible, in between fuelings, if I wanted to run them alternately. I was also worried about the octane rating changing for e-85 in the winter. I suppose I won't be running it much in the winter, though. Is e-85 something I can stock up on, or should I ask, does it "keep" the same as gas? Purely for being able to keep fluids running through the lines during the off-season. You know, open up the garage door after shoveling snow and let it idle and do a burnout or two...:D

Turboglenn: Thanks for the name drop. I will be contacting him within the coming weeks. I'll have a full build with crower rods and Je pistons and supertech valves, oh my!LOL
