I'm thinking about purchasing a car that has a blown motor and keeping the blown motor around to pull parts off. I want to order a stock 4G63T. I was looking at one off of Osaka JDM Motors . They say they find cars with motors between 10 and 35 thousand miles on them for 1300 with turbo setup and everything needed to run or everything you need but the turbo setup for 380 and was wondering if anyone had dealt with them or what they think about that deal. Or does anybody know of a better place to find a remanufactured 4G63? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would just buy a rebuilt longblock from one of the vendors. You'll spend a few hundred dollars more, but it will be worth it. The engines from Japan always have more miles than the sellers say they do.

Well it wouldnt be a big deal if they were actually a few hundred dollars more but they are about 1500 more and they dont come with intake manifold, ecu, harnesses, sensors ,distributor ,alternator, or transmission and a few other things. And the osaka ones do.
