I was wandering about the shortboy 2.0l, i heard they were good motors and i recently purchased one, i am looking to buy a shep trans also is this a good combo?

Depends on turbo choice, fuel choice, intended time/ power goal. You need to go into your profile and fill out it the best you can so we can help you help yourself.

Fill out hwat you have for these right here in this thread for now;

turbo
fuel management
mods
fuel pump/ afpr
fuel

O k i updated my profile hope this helps, i will get some pics on here of her also, very soon. My main goal is to get a 10 second sleeper.

If your running pump fuel your injectors should be fine, just watch your idc. If you switch to E85, you'll need to go bigger.

What horse/time are you aiming for?

1500's you mentioned could be to small depending on for plans even.

Times-10's and horsies around the 480 close to 500 mark. whats got me all started on this is i recently just blew up my car, yesterday. and it was fast then but now i am looking for more since i have the money to play. i love the speed these things have, and there potential.

do you think i should bump up on the fuel pump?

I have seen threads where people have said they got 500hp out of the Walbro. If you keep that it will become your limiting factor at some point. For saftey margin, there have been New intank fuel pumps released that are caiming 600 on some cars and are cheaper than the Bosch044. They are all priced between 150 and 170. Hope this helps.
