Motor swap Q:

I have a 97 talon. I want to take the motor out of it (4g63t) and put it in my 93 fwd, this is easilly possible but will that be okay considering I will be swapping ecu's as well.

To my knowledge the only difference between ECU types is between the 1G and 2G. With that being said, your going to need to swap over the AWD flywheel for the FWD model and probably the starter plate.

Good luck with getting a front motor mount to work. The 2g engine won't have the bolt holes in the block for it. Also it will be a ton easier to just fine a turbo 1g ecu than to try and use a 2g ecu.

It you want all the mounts to bolt up than no you can't.
