Motor not aligning in bay

I put my motor back in and now my power steering pulley is rubbing in the fender wall. Not the pump but the pulley on the engine. No matter which way my shift things it rubs or c-hair away from it. Any suggestions?

If the crank pulley is hitting, taking the pump off won't help anything.

If it is the same motor that you took out of it, it should bolt back in exactly the same way, if not then something isn't right. Go over everything and make sure its all bolted up correct. Do all your tranny mounts bolt up right?

It's the same motor. So far I have have bolted up is the 4 motor mounts. There fool proof to bolt up, right? I'm kinda puzzled on this one.

Well on a 2g, there are 3 tranny mounts and 1 motor mount. I think on a 1g there are 2 motor and 2 tranny, so if you have 4 bolted up right I would assume its right.

Make sure the tranny is boled to the block correctly, then make sure all the mounts line up, then make sure your crank pulley is installed all the way in. I should just bolt in, I've never had a problem with it.
