Motor build idea.

Ok guys im gonna be looking into a motor build for this winter/spring. Was looking at the maperformance stroker kit. Thinking of going with the eagle crank, eagle rods, and mahle pistons with that kit. Any suggestions on which water pump and oil pump to go with?

As for the head was thinking on the lines of

tomei 260/260 cams
manley springs and retainers
manley valves
tomei cam gears
ferrea valve guides and seals
arp head studs
of course all new gaskets top to bottom

This is just an idea for now. Parts may change as i do more research.

OEM pumps. The head is only going to be a factor for the rpm range and turbo size.

Was looking into the precision sc61 6152s turbo. They rate them at 630hp but from everything i read they under rate their turbo by 7-10% of their max capability.

So with that turbo, what is good with the "260" cam? I haven't heard of that brand and if their labeling is like most other brands, the lift is pretty low for a large turbo and that would be better suited for a 16g.

Sorry wiseman but Tomei is one of the top shops in Japan along with Top Secret ran by Smokey. Tomei does alot with evos. With the 4g63 platform. Also I might add that they are a bits pricey. Found thought out when I was in contact with them planning on doing a full Tomei build. Then due to pricing I scrapped that idea.

Originally was looking at going with a 16g. After reading up on the precision turbo and taking a ride in a built srt4 today with a precision sc61 turbo im kinda leaning that way now. As for cams with the precision ill be looking into a set of crower 272s.
