Ok so i have a 1992 talon tsi fwd. I have recently put a 16G turbo from turbokits.com on it. Well when I went for first test drive it run strong and was mean up until about 7psi and it choked from there on out. just wouldn't run right at all and smoking pretty bad. Well I had a compression test done on it and well it wasn't good at all. 145-40-65-70 and so now I know part/most of my problem, and why i am getting so much blow by oil. Ok so my question is, what is the best thing to do. Re-do the motor I have now which has around 86,000 on it or just buy I new block so I know its new and has been done right. I understand I am going to have to fork out quite a bit of money but I want to get the better deal for the money that will last a long time. My other question is, how do these 2.3 and 2.4 stroker engine stand up? I know they have to be pretty awesome but I am just confused and need some help. I had looked through previous threads but didn't find answers to my questions so if anyone can help me and even give me some reccomended websites that may help me as well i will greatly appriciate it.
