I purchased 2 momo street racer gt seats, black with black rubber shoulder boulsters. Along with the seats I purchased 2 seat brackets, 2 seat adapters and 2 seat sliders to install them.
Initial Impression:
Upon first recieving the seats I was pretty happy, they were boxed in a boot shaped box that fit the seats snugly, inside they are wrapped in bubble wrap bags. Packaging delights out of the way, when I pulled the seats from the bag I was impressed. Very clean looking seat.
Install:
Install was a pain, after spending as much as I did on the seats and installation accessories it just upsets me that I still need to "rig" up what they gave me in order for it to fit. Just things like holes not matching up, close but no cigar. Another gripe I have with install is the fact that no bolts are supplied for install, It ended up that I had to go to Lowes and pick up some metric bolts. Once I had everything fit together it went nicely, aside from working in such a small space on the seat; even though I assembled the bracket, slider, adapter assembly to the seat before mounting it in the car [easiest way]. Once the seat was in the floor bolts matched up, if you do purchase sliders though, there are 3 holes you can set the height at, sawzaw [or similar] off the first two so theres only one hole, to make it at the lowest height setting [must].
Break-In:
Sitting in the seat once in the car feels very good. You definitely get more of a performance feel out of it. This version of the seat is able to flip forward to allow passengers to enter the rear, and also has the micro back adjustment knob which allows you to talor it to your preffered setting. The back of the seat feels very nice, its almost like a board up your back [not in cushioning but in straightness]. The cushioning on the seat is rather nice as well, a luxury feeling in how it feels. Another thing that I didnt really like with the seats after installing them is that even with them set to the lowest height setitng it was still very close the the roof, about an inch or two. Being 6'1" it's really close to my head, but once you tilt the seat back a little bit to a still comfortable driving postition I don't notice it. One more gripe with the height issue is that the extra money paid for the flip forward [street racer gt vs. street racer] was worthless because the top of the seat hits the headliner [once its about perpendicular to the bottom of the car] when it's flipped forward and it's definitely not enough room to get back even if you did have a back seat.
Overall
Just remember if your looking at these its definitely not a bolt-in installation, just be ready to do some modifying and you'll be all right. I would recommend them because I like momo, if your just looking for a racier look though I'd recommend something cheaper.
