Here is a quick rundown of the mod list.

Aluminum rod motor from the 1G which consists of:

O-ringed block
Wiseco HD 1400 9:1 CR (22mm wrist pins)
RNR Aluminum rods
PINA Motorsports 1G ported head
Felpro 1153-1 MLS headgasket
ARP L19 studs
Kelford 272 cams
Supertech dual valve springs
Kiggly HLA restrictor
etc etc

Just to sum it up in a short fashion, anything and everything that can be done to the long block is there. I can list every mod, but most of you guys get the point. :)

Transmission is built with the good ol norm. Clutches are Alto Power pack clutches. A shift kit, new valve body, new output shaft, new seals, new filter, high-performance band kit, new front pump, new stator, etc.

Torque converter is a PI (no clutch lock up) Billet 9.5 inch converter with roughly a 4400rpm stall. I will adjust the looseness of the converter if necessary as they offer a free restall.

By the way, this thing is a thing of beauty! It is made for a Kiggly 8 bolt pattern SFI approved flex plate.

Right now I am waiting on the transmission to ship before I start putting everything together.

The turbo....

It a Holset HX-52. Funny turbo. Its not T4, its not T6. Its some odd T5 flange. The inlet ports for the turbo are T4, but the bolt patter is odd.

I had the turbine housing modified to allow the normal T4 bolt pattern to fit, as well as a V-Band added to the outlet pipe on the intake side to ensure this sucker doesnt pop off a clamp at the nice boost I plan on running thru this puppy. We removed the silencer to expose the surge ports. I might just end up leaving it in this configuration.

It will be mounted on a Shearer Gen 2 T4 top mount.

Wastegates are MV-S 44mm Tial's with 22PSI springs.

The intake manifold is a JMF Drag. It was originally flanged for a stock DSM TB. Not enough for me this time. Had the flange removed and a 90MM flange welded on for the Q45 TB. The TB has a threaded bung added up top to run a rod to the intake pipe to ensure it will not pop off at the boost pressure I plan to run. The bottom of the runners has been tapped for nitrous which will be ran on the car thru out the whole WOT pass.

Intercooler which I plan on ordering shortly is made by ETS and is a 6" core (two 3" cores welded together) with extremely short route piping. Turbo to intercooler pipe is 3" dia and the intercooler to TB is 3.5" dia.

Fueling is going to be the same setup that I ran on my 1G. Twin Bosch 044 pumps, -6 lines feeding a Y block to a -8 into a Holly rail (this sucker is big!). Injectors are 2200cc. Car runs on E85.

Im probably forgetting a few things. I am acquiring parts at a rapid rate at this point. I will probably make the next post once the car starts getting put together.

In the mean time, here are some pictures. They are not in any specific order and they are taken with a blackberry. So I apologize for the lack of quality.

Most of the stuff is in rough quality and will be getting "blinged" up before it goes on the car. I'll add pictures of the torque converter and other items shortly.

I regret getting rid of my HX52 sometimes as I know I would have pushed it's true limits but I hope you or some of the other guys make so much power I HAVE to get another one LOL

Slippi84, I promise this turbo will be maxed out (and then get tapped by some drugs for more power). This is just a plain HX-52 from a Volvo vehicle. I did not know about the HX52 Pro when I ordered this, which is fine. For 600 dollars to my door, I simply cannot complain.

I think people are going to be surprised as to how quickly this turbo comes on and how much power its going to make thru an always slipping automatic. :)

I uploaded some more photos. The barney colored torque converter, billet core bump sticks, new L19's and new head gasket.

Right now I am waiting on some copper wire for the block. I need to replace it since I took the head off. I wish it would get here sooner or would be even better if I can just find a place local to me. :toobad:

Were anxious to tear that 2G down and get cracking at it.

Slippi84, I have been using the MLS gasket with an O-Ringed block for a while now without any issues (38+ psi constantly). I am aware of the rings your reffering to on the gasket. It doesnt cause any issues.

By the way I just noticed your L19s look dry your supposed to store them in oil or lubricant to keep them from oxidizing. They are not like regular ARPs.

Edit: Nvm they're still air tight your good :)

Slippi, the felpro will work fine. Yeah, I dont touch the bolts until its time for it to go in the motor.

I am just waiting on the block and head to go to the machine shop to make sure everything is still good and thats it. :)
