mixing synhetic oil with regular need help!!!

Could mixing synthetic oil with regular oil cause any engine problems? if so what kind?
Could it cause a 4g63t to blow? mine did please help.

2.4 turbo Hyped is right though....basically if u have small leaks going with synthetic is a no no...it will cause worse leaks.

It is all a big myth and mixing oils is fine. I use full synthetic and I got no leaks so it works great for me.

You are luckier than I. I have never had any success with synthetics. I use castrol 20w50 and have had very good success with it.

Conventional and synthetic oils are fully mixable. It's only dumb because of the economics.

Most "synthetic" oils are "assembled" on a petroleum oil base.

Mixing them was not the cause of your motor failure. The kinds of treatment practiced by those who would mix them is more likely the cause.
