MIVEC on Older 4G63's

I am dying to see some peoples real world driving experience with this setup. I can see this helping big cams idle good, and potentially help bigger turbos spool up. I'm thinking of using an adjustable exhaust cam gear and dialing it in so I can reduce reversion and still have decent low end and crisp top end. Any thoughts or am I wasting my time?
