I can call my MIVEC experiment a resounding success.

Last weekend at the Kent/Seattle IFO event I took first place in the FIS class with my MIVEC converted 1g.

I ran the car through four rounds of eliminations:

60' times were 1.5, 1.4, 1.4, and 1.4
All the runs were in the nines, 9.92 @ 140.87, 9.90 @ 140.59, 9.779 @ 141.27 and 9.777 @ 141.09

All with no nitrous to help get up on the converter.

Huge Huge Thanks to Kevin at Kiggly Racing and Lucas at English Racing for helping me get this mad scientist experiment up and running.

The ER crew caught my last run on video and posted it here: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyJS3RmAThc]John Wood (JohnnyTSi) - 9.77 @ 141mph - English Racing - YouTube[/ame]

Glad to see it up and working so well with so little track time. I know it was mentioned cost being a bit high. But I see it as look how much your going to save on NOS depending on the car.

I so can't wait for this to hit the market.
