90talon fresh off turbo rebuild, cut out cat, and back to running and not smoking. New problem, missing and major back firing, no engine light on. My guess is timing is off by a tooth?any other common causes for this?

Well im an idiot, when i changed the wires i assumed they were correct so i just put the new ones the same as the old.....big mistake. 2-3 wire switched. Now that they are right it runs great! So to recap dont assume things and im an idiot.
