miss fireing at high rpms why?!?!?!

so im running 18psi first and 2nd seem to be find when i hit 3rd and get to about 5k rpms....it seems to miss fire like crazy.......could it be plugs are to hot?

make sure your plugs are gapped correctly. i was running into this problem. i bought new NGK BPR7ES plugs and NGK wires and gapped the plugs at .29-.32 and installed. the car pulls its ass off now. im not running 18psi (that could be your issue too) im running 15psi. but i fixed it!

i think my issue is i have NGK BPR6ES???? the BPR7ES are 1 heat range cooler.....so thanks alot man that helped ALOT just orderd the plugs cant wait to get them

yeah man the 6ES are tech good for stock but because your not stock (considered your running 18psi ) you would def need atleast the BPR7ES. just make sure you gap them between .29 and .32 all mine are at .29 and like .30 i wanted the best but i did it aswell with new wires and changed the oil and sh*t and the car runs beautifuly now.

Def. try the plugs first. I had the same problem a while back when had 6's in. Changed over to 7's and bam good as new. Good luck man.

Depending on boost and ignition strength, .030 is not going to work, so if you followed that advice, your gaps are too big.

I run a lot of boost, but even at 22-23psi, .030 is on the verge of blowout. I can't run anything over .025 really.
