mishimoto rad what coolant

I just got my setup and its everything of mishimoto brand, rad, hose, fan and shroud, and thermostat. So guys i would like to know which coolant is the best to run with these setup.

I run what ever is on sale 50/50 mix.

nope not really. as long as it's a 50/50 mix that's all there is to it.

Run cooler i never knew a coolant to make my dsm run cooler. Of course if it running hot the coolant isnt the problem. I guess you could try a few and see whats works for you, coolant is cheap enough.

Ok thanks guys i just though that i could do something, or mix liquids cause i am putting knew coolant in it with what i just bought for my dsm.

If your cooling system is completely empty, which I'm guessing it is, get the full strength gallon and mix it yourself. That way you'll have a total of 2 gallons of fluid when mixed 50/50. I made the mistake of not filling the gst up with enough coolant and couldn't for the life of me figure out why it was still running on the hot side. Der me

Well. I live a few hours north of you. i run 70/30 with a bottle of water wetter. I don't believe coolent brand matters, but Redline Water Wetter is proven to lowercoolent temps by ~10°

Yes there is no coolant at all in it, so i will do that buy a full prestone coolant, and i gallon of water mix with water wetter what i can find at the auto part.

Yes usually running a bit more water than coolant can keep it cooler.

Yep, and the more coolant you use the higher the boiling point is. For a car that runs fairly hot to begin with, a higher boiling point is a good thing.
