MIR Track day

Good time had by all. I don't think anyone but Dan got the times they were looking for. But it was the first race of the year. We all were snoozing on the line. Got to shake out the cob webs.

You know your R/T is bad when you dial in a 13.45 and run 13.45 and lose. :thumbdown

Best part is no one broke. See you all this Sat.

Dan and I had a good race. i caught rec lights all day long. Just slightly too quick at the line. I like how when I hit 4th though just before the 1/8th you can see I'm only doing 72mph. Then I trap 105 gaining 32mph in the last 1/8th.
Not exactly sure what it was about the track yesterday. It was great cool weather, but maybe just from teh track being fresh and not a lot of rubber being there it made it slick.
I did cut a 1.66 though on my 2nd pass getting sideways outta the hole.
Yesterday was definetly a good time being that no one broke. I'd much rather people not run what they wanted to run and not brake than run what they want then have to get towed home.
Travis, Bill, Dan and Jerry nice job to all of you. We have a long season ahead of us. We'll get our gremlins figured out and improve all season long

Not a DSM, but I ran yesterday.

Two runs for me, then I left.. Here are the times:
First Run:

Second run:
R/T -.034 RED Light(I was deep staged, otherwise it would have been almost perfect r/t)

1/4 13.574 MPH 105.39

The second run I was whopping up on a Mustang, who ended up letting up.. Guess he was embarassed getting beat by a 4door mercedes..

sucks that i couldn't make it out this saturday. transmission was acting up and i was just in a pissy mood. of course the tranny feels fine now... go figure.

i heard my friend ran a 13.4 in an srt with only minor mods... not bad considering his 60' was only 2.2

i'll definately make it out next time though, i miss the track

You must mean the turbo'd and nitrous'd with slicks up front, maxima, huh? Yeah, I believe he pulled off a best of 11.5. Impressive none-the-less.
