If you have never done this, don't worry. Show up early like stated earlier, get tech'ed in and look for the rest of the DSM's. We all try parking together. We will all be more then happy to help you out. We all had a "first" day at the track. So don't sweat it. You will have a blast.

good to know, im worried about my stock 02 housing giving me boost creep with my 3-inch turbo-back, anyone know any good porting places or should I just get a new one, and are the Ebay ones any good?

if you run a cat you probably won't creep. either tune around it, or try porting it.. every car is different, can't really do much more than guess.. start simple and work your way through hte more difficult solutions till it works right.

if i can get my creeping issue fixed ill be running, if i cant i wont be. Looking at getting an O2 that dump to ATMO, plus i need to get my turbo ported (wastegate and 34mm flapper). With that i think i should be ok, and can finally tune to a consistant boost PSI. Ill be there either way.

I ran a venting o2 when i had my 16g on my second gen ....never had any kind of boost creep problems and from what i heard everyone else has said the same.

Alright everyone, the track opens up this Saturday. Test'n Tune on Saturday the 5th, and then midday madness on Sunday the 6th. Admission for TnT is $30 to race, it's $15 to race on Sunday in Midday Madness. There's a $1000 payoff on the TnT day. What's everyone feeling? Test'n Tune or Midday Maddness? Let's decide now before it gets too close to the weekend.

Hahah I think I have you beat. Ill be posting the slowest times with my first time at the track and completely stock car . If anyone in Virginia wants to go up with another dsm and a few other cars, join a group of us going up there hopefully getting there before the gates even open up. PM me for details or just meet us at Tyons Corner Mall parking garage at the top in front of Macys.

Alright guys... I am going to be there tomorrow too... I will have the White Ford Dually hauling the 48ft White Race Trailer... I will be towing in a friends car but will probably be towing out atleast 2 DSMs.... I should be easy to spot so if you all wanna park near the trailer you can, i will also have the fridge and frezzer on in the trailer if anyone wants to bring beverages and ice .

First run ever for me was of course against a Chevy Corvette. And of course it can't be a normal corvette, no. It has to be a god damned Z06. I was fearing for my life, the thing was stock, but the z06 badging left little comfort in my mind. Now, I know my times may seem a little slow, but this was my first time racing at the track so....

Race from my standpoint went down like this. Line up and stage perfectly, I rev up to 4000ish and wait for him to stage. He stages, lights begin to drop, and he beats me on reaction time, but god damned to whoop his ass on the launch. Slowly, ever so slowly I begin to creep away in second gear. Third gear time... and damn it, he's next to me and pulling away hard. By the end of the race, he's got a carlength on me, my time was faster, but he beat me off the line, he killed me, but in my mind it was still a win.

Race #2, Me vs Torch red WS6 Trans Am with atleast an exhaust

Once again, I line up and stage perfectly after driving right through the water box. I stage first, and tach her up to 4500 again, desperate for a better 60' time....

By this time I'm estatic I won, and angry at the same time. My boost controller is shot, I'm gonna buy a new one, I don't trust my home depot style one so thats out. 8 Lbs of boost has netted me decent times, but I want a better 60 foot, 1.9 is weak sauce.

Damn, where was my launch on that one, I mean come on, it's an improvement, but not what I am looking for, I can do so much better. I want atleast a 1.8, and I think it's time to launch like a man. Oh, and for the record, I hate bracket racing, as you are about to see me lose to a 16 second car.
