mild modded dsm vs. a bone stock srt-4

my friend just went out and got an srt-4 and already he thinks his car is faster than mine. coming from a friend who has helped me get my car where it is at. he drove a base neon acr right before the srt-4 and now he wants to talk trash. do you guys think my mildy modded laser rs can take him? he is not that great of a driver either. i am fixin to get my 650's, afpr, s-afc, and my new clutch(act 2600) when i get my income tax back.let me know what you guys think.

srt-4's are quick little cars, depending on ur mods, ur buddy probly has the edge on u, but it will be extremely close because both engine powers are alive, just make sure u shift fast and dont make any mistakes (overrevving, underrevving, too much clutch slippage, etc). But dont fight over it its ur friend, if he beats ur car youll just have a set point for your self, as in to beat ur buddies srt-4.

if u put in a small 16g u will murder him

i want a scm-60(50 trim ) turbo when the time comes for it. i have heard a lot of good stuff about those turbos. right now i am going to try to kick his butt with my stocker(14b)

There is NO way to tell if you will beat him.. It really doesnt matter if his car is stock at your car is 500hp..

You can blow an intercooler pipe, You can break something off the line, He can blow a tire.. There are so many things that can happen..

Just go race him, Who cares. If he talks shit on you, Even better.. Nothing like having him eat his words, If he keeps talking shit, Just beat him up who cares. :thumbdown
