im caught up in a problem i want your opinioon please!

I got the option to fix up my eclipse or my integra GSR.
Now im thinking this because its an option but i want an opionion from you guys.

#1 - which would you think would be faster in the end?
#2 - which one you think would look better?
#3 - which one you think could get into the 13/ low 12's for less?
#4 - which one would you do what to?
#5 - Gimme a why to number 5....

i was thinking just go looks with the eclipse with normal bolt-on's but i want your opinion on this subject...

HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Well just a note to everyone im bringing the eclipse to the "shop" on Tuesday to find out why my compression is so low and once we find that out im going to get a couple test ran on the "teg" also :thumb:. Then when i figure out how much its going to cost me to fix the eclipse up im going to make a desicion, ill post that choice.

later!

Which car do you enjoy driving more? Yer little Honda could be quick, but I like the turn in on 2g's a lot better. What have you found suits you?

its a tough decission because you can turbocharge both motors and get great results. if you went that way i would turbo the eclipse because the 420a has been proven that it can handle the tubo setup. the gsr would be quick but it will be really slow if you do not have the knowledge to tune it.

did anyone see that sports compact car with the turbo gsr that was slower than a stock gsr? yeah that confused me but in the end it was because the gsr is hard to tune.

Well its all gonne be decided if i can get someone to give me REAL results from when they purchased their hahn stage 1 or 2's with real numbers not hahns numbers...

Also going to depend on what is wrong with my car because im bringing it to get checked out compression and leakdown test wise to see where my problems lie...

And as far as which one is more fun/ suites me more? def the eclipse i love the look of it hands down over the teg. But the teg is so much lighter and actually seems like it will hands down out perform the eclipse...

I guess this leakdown test is gonna tell me which one is getting modded...

the 92 gsr's if i am not mistaken have the same motor as the 94-01's. its up to you but i would mod the eclipse over the 92 gsr. the eclipse can be equally as fast and faster with a turbo but with the eclipse you will have a much nicer looking car. thats just my opinion though.

i would do the eclipse just because it has the show and go. the gsr will have go but its hard to make them look good.

true but like i said about the eclipse im going to have to bring it to get the leakdown test done and from there i will decide if its worth it to fix it to get the compression back up past 190's on all cyl's and turbo it...

Not always hard to make a gsr look good...

but i dont know the condition of that motors internals...

I know for a fact that the dam tranny in my clipse is grinding...

Its going back to the dealer again if i change the fluid and that dosent fix it.

Here you go I'll hold your hand while you cross the street

Lemme explain something, i went through that whole forum each page and found NOTHING on what i was asking.

So theres no need to make fun/name call me for not seeing what i was looking for.

And yes i did see the 420a group discussion board.

OMG no need to be an ass.OMG

honestly dont sell both cars to get one it not good to have your daily driver as your project car as well i lueaned that the hard when my timing belt went ... i was stuck daily driving my motorcycle for 2 months straight and luckaly i had that ... take that gsr throw it on jackstands strip it down pull the motor out take your time and re build from top up for performance only and use the eclipse to look good as you get from a to b while your gsr is in peices ...

question were you planing to go n/a or forced induction with the gsr ?
ohhhh and also about gsr not being good 1/4 cars i beg to differ i live in miami and i see alot of the local gsr kids runing street trim mid 11's (w/slicks) which makes a kick a$$ street fighter as well ..

Somebody said earlier that GSR parts are easy to find (Integra parts and Civic parts seem to be about all I find when I go looking online), but most of the Integra parts I see are for '94-'01. If it's a '92, I don't know how easily you could find parts for it. For that reason, I'd probably go with the Eclipse.

My friend has a '94 GSR and it's way faster than my friend's '94 Eclipse GS, if that matters.
