Guys, aren't we going to try and do a group cruise anyway?

Why don't we just meet initially at Tropical and then all head up to Markham but depart later like at 2:30 ish? We are right next to 826 and from there its a straight shot north to I-75. A bunch of DSMs on the highway taking up 2-3 lanes would look sooooo cool too.

Anyone getting to Tropical by 2:30 is awfully late anyway....

Super easy. Palmetto (826 North) to I-75, take that North to W SR 84 Exit. The park is right there.

BTW, I have not had time to do any editing of the group cruise video. I just burned 4 DVD copies of the raw videos and am heading over to Checkers/La Carreta right NOW. I'll take them also on my laptop to the next meet and can burn them from the laptop to DVD there for whoever wants em. Just reimburse me for the cost of the DVDs (roughly 50 cents each or so).

The raw video is pretty huge so one would need to edit it to get on youtube.... I have the software to do it and have done videos on youtube before (see below) but I'm really pressed for time lately and realistically won't get to this any time soon. Here are a couple of my prior video efforts (not DSM related):

o iam so sorry 14 thats still not a good meet. i have been to lots of meets and i have never seen less then 25 cars

Anyway, about lasts meets turn out. I think the count was a bit higher then 14, or it coulda been 14 exactly. Either way, that is a really good turn out for a day with bad weather. We had a lot of people coming who called it in and said they weren't showing because of the weather.

Now for this meet, we're hoping to get a huge number. As said before, I see Nissans, Honda's, Evo's, hell even Mustangs in huge groups. Never seen DSM's though. Though our numbers have been getting better, we still haven't hit the full blown numbers of DSMs that we can get.

Hopefully this meet is a perfect sunny day!


Also guys, if you know any DSM'ers, encourage them to come!

this wasnt turning into a dade/broward situation... we want to have the meet yet we live far...markham park is still a pretty good distance from where i live but it isnt an hour and half away from where i live either

I don't know, there seems like a lot of confusion now. Changing the meet up location without a good amount of time seems like a bad idea. Shoulda been discussed the day after the meet in March imo.

I handed out a BUNCH of flyers to random DSMs about the Tropical Park meet on the 26th, and I don't have a way to contact them either if the place changes , so I'm not sure what you guys wanna do. If anything, I think it's better to move the meet a bit up north the next following meet (May 31st). Theres already a bunch of people going to tropical that aren't on these forums. Just throwing this out there.

and just follow the posts from the beggining it was brought up and talked about .. so its not like we ar bringing it up out of no where or with twoo weeks notice. moer like a month and a half.... im not saying this talk shit or n e thing but i was talked about and its notlike i live in broward i live in miami i just think the turn out would be better. for dsm enthusiast not just for dsm drivers. not only that but only being fair to every one going . because tropical park is waaaayyy south for most people..... just my two cents

It actually is a good idea. Have all the guys downsouth in the miami area meet up at Tropical Park and then make the drive up to Markham Park in a group cruise and have the ultimate DSM meet.
