MHI EVO III 16g Turbo

Can anyone please share with me a image or diagram that shows what ports are for what on this turbo model?
Which are for cooling inlet/return? Which are for oil inlet/return?

I am asking stupid questions because i dont want to make any stupid mistakes. And i cant find this info.

Ok so i found these sources.

From what i gather bottom port is oil return, top port is oil inlet.
Front/Back ports are coolant inlet/return.

I think i did it correct to begin with. I started testing for coolant leaks and i swear it looked like a leak coming from the bottom (oil return) port on the 16G.
But i need to check better tomorrow, preferbly not when its dark.

You are correct. Coolant out the oil sides is unlikely. Trust your instincts and look harder. Make sure you have crush washers in place

Yep im going to need to remove the turbo.

I used the Kinugawa Water Line Kit and stupid me didnt use teflon tape because it looked like pressure fittings.
I removed the front which was leaking from the fitting to the line where the banjo bolt goes in.
Was fine at the surface of the turbo. Put some teflon tape - leak gone from the front fitting.
But its also leaking from the rear fitting which i can only get to with the turbo off...

Oh well. Sh!t happens.

I figure since i need to take the whole thing out anyway, ill probably go ahead and change where the coolant feed is coming from. Instead of the coolant pipe, ill go ahead and open up the plugged hole on the block and use the correct outlet.

Teflon tape? Those are crush washer fittings with banjo bolts. Explain.

This part gets screwed on the fitting for the banjo bolt. that’s what was leaking and needed teflon tape. Not the part with the banjo bolt or crush washer.
