im not 100% sure but this is what i think it is meth is a fuel that is really easy to be burned (might be really hard to burn i think my step dad said they take alot to burn it) so it makes power alot more easy, NOS is just like air is that is forced into the motor making it able to give it more gas to give it more power. and off the fast and furious that dsm would not have blown up from the nos

All meth really does is raise the octane of the fuel...allowing for more timing to be run, keeping the chances of knock(detonation) down. It stabilizes the octane fluxuations in the gas pumps also, making your tune more accurate. Water is added sometimes to cool the air entering for combustion or some run straight meth. alcohol, allowing for addition timing over the mixtures. Many use windshield washer fluid (certain brands that have a percentage of meth in it) that contain up to about 40-50% methyl alcohol and water. I plan on just running VP M1 mixed about 80-20 with water. Still getting some cooling from the water and more timing from the added alcohol over windshield fluid.

Theres many threads on here about it and a rather large one in the tuning section.
