i was checking out my motor mount inserts to see how bad they where and i thought id just check if my engine and tranny are ok (i put in my racing clutch 400miles ago).i saw some metal shavings where the right halfshaft goes into the tranny.i have no clue what this could be but the shavings are fine(not chucky),and its just a little bit.what do you guys think this could be

I had the same thing and in my case it was the flywheel eating the nose cone off of the starter. 6 months later my car wouldn't start and guess what, it was the starter. The nose cone finally tore off and was jamming the flywheel and the starter wouldn't engage. So you may want to pull your starter out and check it out.
