Good afternoon guys. Like the title states, should I try using dsmlink myself to the tune the car? I have never tuned a car before, I have only used the programs evo scan and ecu flash on a different vehicle. Car is a 97 gsx, 750 injectors, rewired Walbro, gm maf with ecmlink cable, 272 bc cams, mhi 16g. Or should I not waste my time and just find a tuner?

Mitsumike, it is always worth the try to do it yourself and ask for help when you can't figure something out. A good tuner is a great thing to have on standby, mine made my car really come to life after he worked his magic!!!

Ecmlink is user friendly. I would say just start with reading up on it , and begin to understand what ratios of fuel are and what all the aspects into tuning a car are for. ecmlink has a forum on there page to help you get started.
