I'm trying to hook up my buddies nitrous kit in his 1g for him. He has dsm link. Dsm link says i should hook up the power wire to the "fuel pressure solenoid line" on the ecu. I found a pin out of a 1g ecu and the closest thing to a fuel pressure solwnoid line is a "fuel pressure control valve" which is pin 57. Is that the wire? Also so i cut the wire and tie into it on so i leave it alone and splice my wire into it? Any info would be great.

I don't have DSMlink but with my Zex kit on my 2g I just tapped my power wire from the Zex kit to a power source that has switched power, such as your ignition switch. You don't want it to stay on when the ignition is turned off. Good luck!!

DSMLink forum. What you're looking for is the FPS, fuel pressure solenoid. It's on the driver's side of the car under the hood, mounted to the firewall. In stock form it has a vac line coming from the manifold, and a vac line going to the fuel pressure regulator.
With DSMLink, you would unplug the connector from the solenoid and tap the lines, as they'll provide power and ground when the FPS solenoid actuation is sent (repurposed by DSMLink for nitrous control).
Here's a 1G ECU pinout: http://vfaq.com/mods/ecu-harness-1G.html
It appears that yes, you'd want to tap on the wire coming from pin 57, though I'm not sure if it provides power or ground. Likely power, though you'll want to double-check it, and likely want to unplug the FPS so you won't end up with a short condition in one or the other circuit.
Aside from that, there are loads of resources up on the DSMLink forums. If you have a legal copy, you should be able to look there and get all the information you'll need.

GenerationX, he isn't looking for a place to tap power for the setup, he's looking for a place to tap to allow DSMLink to control activation/actuation, rather than just having a switch under the gas pedal so it'll trip at WOT.

Yeah he informed me of that in his earlier post. I don't have a switch under my gas pedal to activate under wot. Mine is tapped into my TPS in the engine bay, so that it will activate only under wot with my gas pedal depressed.
