Do you know of anywhere to buy chrome or silver mesh grille, that is just in sheets so i can put it on my blitz kit, i dont want to buy a pre-made one because its so easy to do with just cutting and screwing.

Any good retailers?

Jon...That is a beautiful pic. The reflection of the building off your paint job is also impressive :thumb:

some of you guys talked about doing the grille yourself, is it really that hard or is it better to just buy one premade.....just wondering

Does anyone know if it is hard to put in the mesh grill in the stock bumper? And how do you change out the side markers do they just pop out?

How do you get the side markers on the front bumper out? Do they just pop out from the outside? Please let me know. Does anyone know if it is hard to put in the mesh grill kits on the stock bumper?

To change the side markers you can just reach up under the bumper and twist the light out. then push forward and out from the inside of the side marker. You push from the rear of the marker as if you are looking at it from the front of the car. it should pop right out. I put my clear corners in a couple days ago, only took a couple minutes. I also just painted my headlight housings so while i had the bumper off i also put in some black mesh. Buy some epoxy putty stuff, it comes in a little blue stick(mine was blue anyways) you cut off a small piece and knead it till it turns white then smash it between part of the bumper and the mesh. It dries rock hard and it waterproof. Sorry this is so long but good luck and be prepared to have epoxy stuck to your fingers if thats how you do it.

When I did my clear corners I used a flat head screwdriver and a small towel. Place the towel over the screwdriver and pry gently to the outside of the light. It should pop right out.

just do what "Chuckt"said and go to the local hardware store and get Gutter Guard, its like 4 bucks for a 20ft roll, and it will work just as good as anything else

I didn't use a towel, just didn't touch the screwdriver to the bumper and it was good, popped out real easy.

There's a plastic clip on the rear, and a spring steel one on the front. You want to push toward the front of the car to compress the spring and the rear will lever out. Only takes about 1/8", you can do it by lying in the dirt and reaching up behind the bumper, or be a sophisticated, tool-using greater ape and with a bit of rag over a screwdriver tip, pry from the outside on the back edge of the light while standing more-or-less upright.

that's exactly how the manual instructs you to take them out.

as far as the mesh grille, any type of waterproof glue will work, just go to wal-mart or home depot and check out what they have in home improvement section. just make sure the glue is waterproof and can be used on urethane or fiberglass (whichever your bumper is).

if you want it to look real sharp take the time to take you front bumper cover off and lay the screen behind it then attach it with small screws and zipties plus when you put it back on there is no way it will ever come out, check out my gallery i have clear corners and screening

woohoo, it's real easy, i just installed my 1st mods today, k&n fipk and clear lights, the lights are so easy dude. you pry (with a towel, i have a black car) on the side of the light towards the rear of the car, and it pops out, then you just grab that side and pull it out, real easy, the bulb just twists out. here's a pic, just go to the link cause it's a bit pic:

I was just wondering if anyone has put in a mesh grill of some sort on the front of their cars. My car has this ugly metal rod that runs along the front of the front bumper, and i thought a meshed grill would hide that. anyone do something like that?
