MegaSquirt Cold Starting

Does anyone that runs megasquirt have cold start settings that start and run the first time for temps around 10 degrees F? Mine are getting closer but I still have to start 2 or three times to stay running. I have a high idle air valve for cold starts. At some temps my cranking PW is not good enough so I don't get above 300rpms. At other temps the ASE is not good enough so it idles up to 800rpm, then dies in a couple seconds. I have had the same problems with gas or E85 so I am curious to see other peoples settings for either one. I keep making changes but it takes a long time since I only get 1 good try in the morning after setting all night. I am running hi-res 10e code. I have not tried the fixed MAP setting in ASE or the first start enrichment setting.

I would suggest you ask on msextra.com I run MS aswell but my car is down and never needed to run cold start since I park my car during the winter. But there will prob be someone on here that will have the answer

i would go to msextra.com or msefi.com to get info.

but to sum it up if you have a well tuned Air Fuel map (VE map) then
i would leave the map alone. only make changes to the After Start
Enrichment and Warm Up Enrichments. if you make any changes to the
VE then you need to readjust the ASE and WUE settings again.

it is a pain but you need to make sure the engine is totally cold before you tune
the ASE and WUE.
