megasquirt basic tune settings

Ok so I bought a megasquirt kit from DIY auto tune and I want to know how to set the settings.
Its megsquirt 2 and I want to control Fuel and spark. The motor is built with forged internals and grower stage two cams running on stock injectors. Basically it's a stock motor but with forged internals. I want a starting point so I can learn how to tune before I turbo charge it. Any help on how to set the settings would be great.

I got my base tune from symtech's site. they also have a bunch from people that they have uploaded.

First and foremost, did you do the 420a specific mods to the board so it can read our crank signal?

I did all the mods listed from DIY for 420a. I'm trying to run full stand alone.

I don't think that was me.

Also I'm running mega squirt 2extra 3.3.1
