Megan Racing Downpipe + Catback

Megan Racing had test-fitted my car a few months back for a full exhaust system. They did not have a "proper" 2G GSX downpipe, and for the sake of product improvement, they fabricated a full 3" exhaust from scratch. Here is the final product:

How much HP to the wheels will this straight-through exhaust add to this car??? :laugh:

The system is a straight-through design with no bends except for the downpipe (d'oh). It actually looks like my HKS Carbon-Ti system. The muffler section is 13 lbs. and a little heavier than the HKS.

I'll have it installed next week and i'll post a soundclip.

ahhh.......... i've been looking for one for the longest time, i was wondering why the hell they only came out with the downpipe and not even catback for the AWD car.

and i just got the megan racing n1 muffler last night? if it is out, i'm going to return it and get the catback instead. and had the megan racing downpipe(flanges are not stainless, only plated) for the longest time sitting in my garage. how long do you think until they have it for sale? any links? any where i can actually purchase thing cat back?

These are available through their website, you can google it.

These are brand new additions to their product line. The catback is new, and the downpipe is an improvement over their old system.

Im impressed with it so far, cant wait to try 'em out.

Hmmm, you're right. I checked the website and they are not there...yet.

i'm so excited. i researched about the downpipe problem, but it seems like i got one of the new ones, exactly like that picture you have.

i hope it isn't too loud. theres no resonators!

i emailed meganracing.com about the cat back system and they told me they are still in the prototype phases. it won't be out till end of january.

am i wrong?

c5chris, how did you get ahold of the exhaust system? because i don't want to wait past the 4th to get my exhaust system.

I couldn't wait. My car is up on jackstands doing a bunch of work so I found a used extreme 3" catback to bolt up to my megan dp...

oh well..
