Since Megan finally released the 2G AWD Cat-back, I was wondering if any of you have it or if any of you have it on order. Im about to buy it and I was wondering where and how much you guys got it for. And if you have in on the car already, how do you like it? I did a search, but it seems that no one has this exhaust yet. I emailed Megan to see if this exhaust was officially out and ready to buy, and they said it was. I just haven seen anyone with it.

are you getting the downpipe as well? im interested in getting it too, no funds due to me buying megan coilovers. but i'd like to know what you think of the exhaust.

I have the Megan Racing 2G AWD catback exhaust and downpipe. Overall, I love this exhaust and downpipe! It is a bit loud, but it has a nice deep tone to it and it is pretty quiet at idle. But once you get on it, it really makes itself known. It's not like some exhaust that seem to go quiet after 4000+ rpms, this thing increases it's sound to redline. It's extremely straight and is a gorgeous exhaust. I have got many compliments on it. The install went pretty easy, the only difficult part was that the downpipe is so big you barely have room to turn the bolts when connecting it to the O2 housing. But it's not that big of a deal, just take your time and don't strip the bolts. Also, I tapped my EGT in the MR downpipe and that went flawlessly.

The only complaint I have a bout the MR catback is that it looks a little small from the back. On my old gst I had an HKS Hyper which was nearly 4.5". My MR is only 4". But honestly, it's not that big of a deal to me, it just looked a little funny at first. But now I'm used to it. Anyway, if I had it to do over, I would definitely buy this exhaust again. Stainless steal, 3", looks amazing, and sounds great! You really can't beat it for the price.

ok, i've looked and can't find an answer to my question. on megan racing's website, it does not give the option for a turboback exhaust, if i just order the catback, test pipe, and downpipe will everything fit up correctly on my 98 GSX? and also, does the megan downpipe bolt up to the stock and evo o2 housings?

The closest thing your going to get to a turbo back system with MR, is to order thier downpipe and catback. You will not need the test pipe. The only other piece you need is the O2 sensor housing, which last time I checked, was not offered by MR. I know people have used the Victory Performance O2 housing with the MR catback/dp system, although it's a bit pricey.
