megan racing exhaust

Well its just a catback so I dont see what the problem would be.... Not really familiar with dealing with emissions laws, LOL.... Mind you are they not different all over the place, I would look into it if were you....

As for what else you would need... Its states in the description it will not fit the OEM cat and you will need a new flange.

Depending on how strict those emissions are where you are at, look into a new dp. The megan dp is cheap and can be bought off ebay for pretty cheap. Its 2.5-->3" so it should go up to that exhaust... Mind you it is a cat elim. dp so look into those emmisions reg. first.

This exhaust comes with an adapter to bolt to the stock cat. Slowboy is having a big sale this month. They can take care of you and answer any questions you may have. I picked mine up from them about a week ago. Also got their downpipe to match. Will post results after install in a new thread.

as long as you dont get a check engine light and have a cat on your system you should be fine. most states are good with that.

Yeah as long as you have a cat and a good running engine you will be good. I recently passed Maryland emissions with a 3" turbo back exhaust and all of my emissions equipment removed besides the cat. I did however have a tank of 100 octane in the tank.

Here are some pictures comparing stock with MR exhaust.
You'll notice the longer mid section needs to be turned around so that the hanger weld is under the pipe...not on top, but would still look the same.
Notice the test pipe which takes the place of the Cat. It might be possible to find a high flow cat instead that would match up to the flanges...although they aren't true Converters and might still give you emission problems. The pictures help give you the orientation of the flanges.

And btw, You won't regret this setup...great performance gain...and the exhaust note it perfect! It comes with a baffle you can easily remove to give you the louder drone sound, which I prefer around town....baffle on for road trips :)
