i ordered a megan dp for my 99gsx, and the studs on the o2 housing go in perfectly into the dp, but i cant get one nut on, one stud is to close to the piping because the piping is so wide so the nut doesnt go on... what cna i do to fix this?... dent the pipe in??

Spin the nut on a bolt, clamp the bolt with a vice, take your grinder and shave the outside of the bolt.

As I recall, the nuts that come with the Megan DP have a lip on the bottom.

If they don't, or the grinding isn't sufficient, take a punch and start smacking that DP. Can't see any other way. The overall reduction in size won't cause restriction because your o2 is smaller anyway.

One more random guess here, look for a new 2.5 o2 which will fit better.
