mechanic=crappy shifting

ok so i brought my car in about three months ago and got a new clutch installed and ever since when shifting into second gear it grinds a little or feals like the clutch isnt engaged all the way but then when i am downshifting into second grinds terribly and wont go in unless i put it up to first then pull down to second .. the work the mechanic did i still under warranty should i bring it in and say fix it or would it be to late.

If it is a reputable shop I recomend you take it back ASAP.

yeah it is a corporate shop that does just tranny work and the thing is the mechanic was nice till after he did the work then he was just a dick and ever since i have been having problems like boost problems and idle problems

I was wondering what the problem turned out to be ? My 92' Eclipse GS was doing the same thing, but my problem was the synchros were gone.

how much did the syncros cost? Did you replace them or the whole tranny?

When he was doing ur trans, trans fluid might have poured out. I would Change the fluid with Penzoil sychromesh, see if that helps. how many miles are on the trans??? ALSO the Clutch slave Cylinder might not have been Bleed right. get it redone, and see if that helps.
