It's the season again, and when it rains my :dsm: windows get FOGGY.

I no longer have an A/C so I'm out of luck for that solution. (do not tell me to fix it)

Has anyone seen any type of anti-moisture solutions that I could clean the inside of my windows with to prevent the build up of fog? I might try rain-x.. does anyone have any DSM Solutions?

crack the windows open about a inch and runs the fans on high aimed at the windows. even without ac it still helps a bit.

Same problem I have. Keep the windows cracked the best you can and deal with the water and fog. Or don't drive in the hot rain whenever possible. That's what I do. Rain-x on the inside will make it worse, don't even try it.

Use this. It worked wonders for me. Don't listen to what anybody else says, and my A/C is broke too. It sure helps out on those rainy days.

I used that stuff this winter when the windows would fog because of being cold outside. It seemed to work OK, only bad parts I remember were it's hard to reach some places to get it wiped all the way in but it could very easily have been me being in a rush or not doing it right. I say invest the couple bucks at any O'reily's or Autozone or autoparts store that carries the stuff cause it did work OK. Good luck

I have a bottle of that sitting right here. Worked good for me in the cold, looking forward to using it again this weekend. Try it, it's pretty cheap anyway, so what have you got to lose?

I too have no AC and the windows fog up...all I do is crack the windows and hope for the best...Also I turn on the fan and it clears it up pretty decent...

When my GST started fogging up this winter, I put a really light amount of glycerine-based hand soap on the windows. Then, make sure you wipe it off really good with a paper towel or something, or else you'll just get a blurry mess. Its the same thing scuba divers do to keep their masks from fogging up.

Sweet guys, thanks for the tips.

I have a Mrs. Priss GF and if I am NOT allowed to roll down the windows when it's raining. It's unheard of.

I'll definately try that stuff, thanks.

Maybe Rain-X changed their formulation, but they used to put out a seperate product called Fog-X. Worked real well for about two years, then I couldn't find my bottle and have been too lazy to buy another. Just kick on the heater at full blast, seems to work just fine.

Heh. And scuba divers usually just spit in their masks, rub it around, then rinse (without rubbing) with some seawater. Works like a charm, if you ever go diving, and doesn't cause the eye-irritation that soap can. :thumb:

That's your problem right there. Get rid of her and you'll be just fine. I'm suprised she'll even ride in your car. Mine constantly complains about what a piece of crap my car is and refuses to ride in it during the summer because I have no a/c.ROFL

My fiancee HATES my car. It's our only car, and she is scared of being in a car in general. She refuses to even get a drivers permit because she is so scared, so I can't go fast AT ALL, EVER in the car...I can crack the windows when it's raining because we both smoke. So when it gets really foggy, I just give myself cancer.
And yes, Rain-X Anti-Fog is the same a Fog-X, they just changed the name/bottle so people would know it was a Rain-X product.
