Maybe knocking need advice

Hey guys I was reading a thread earlier and thought that it might be happening to me and I don't know. Well I'm running 14 psi on stock fpr, a walbro fuel pump, and stock injectors. I'm worried that I'm knocking because of the fuel issue I'm going to buy a logger soon so I can tune with my safc but do any of you guys know if I should watch out for anything before I end up damaging my motor. Should I be adding fuel since I've turned up the boost and I was told by ams to keep the wideband in the 11's.

You still have the 14b on there. If so the 14b should be fine at 14psi.

Get some sort of tuning device to look for knock.

The different between a 11.0:1 AFR and a 11.9:1 AFR is the difference between the pistons melting or not, I'm pretty sure AMS didn't just say "keep it in the 11's."

Check base timing to 5* at idle and give it a SOLID boost leak test. Once you've done both of these things, tune the car for a 10.9~11.1:1 AFR's on the WB since the stock fuel injectors should have no problem taking the 14b to 15psi with the Walbro in the tank.

There is nothing wrong with a mid 11 afr. I ran 11.5-11.7 for 3 years on 23psi on my old 16g talon no knock.

Exactly. Taking it any higher and you're taking your engine to the edge.

Its called having a solid tune. Nothing wrong with that.
