max wheel size for my 2g????

i have a 95gs and i was wondering what the max wheel size i can put on my car. is the widest i can go 205 without scrubbing anything?? i want 215 but im not sure if they will fit??? if i put 18" rims on my car will it make my car higher than stock if i dont lower it???

I've got 17 inch wheels with 215 tires. Actually the guy who sold me them said that he recommended that size for my car (96 Eclipse RS). They went on fine and havent given me any problems.

Read up. There are about a thousand threads here on this topic. 235's or 245's are possible. Figure out what you want and ask some more specific questions.

those number like 205 and 215 will depend on the wheel size.
w/ 18 rims the safest size is 225/40/18. You can go w/ 235/40/18 but may have to roll fenders. I've personally seen 19's fit on a talon w/ no problems but it will ride rough and slow you down. Theres a ton of threads on this. Some info on this link too.

Ive seen 255 on a gsx that was lowered.... But it all depends on what wheel size/offset/width/tire profile and so on...
