So my current set up is a 16g, 550cc injectors ,fmic , 272's ,Dsmlink v3,and this all on my 1990 gsx.
I want to upgrade the mas , i was gonna do a 2g mas but in preparation for my new set up i dont think its gonna do the job. New setup is holset hy35 1200cc injectors(gonna be running e85)all other supporting mods, but i was curious what mas i should run i don't wanna get the 2g get it all setup out and out flow the crap out of it with the bigger turbo.
so that leaves my options with GM mas and evo mas right? now ive heard so much mixed feed back on the gm mas about inconsistency and im kinda curious about what people really think about it whats are the pro's and con's to using it, seeing how i can just buy the adapter from dsm link and run it.
Other option Is the evo mas i've heard only a little about it but it all seems to be positive so i really just wanted to hear what you dsm pros had to day about both and what your preferences are.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I would personally go with the 2G MAS because that best matches the 4" inlet of the HY35 and should still be plenty when it comes to running HY35 to the ragged edge. If it ever starts to drop counts, which happens around 52-55LB/MIN, you can hack it and easily compensate for it with Dsmlink. They have a airflow map available for a hacked 2G MAS that will make it idle like stock, drive like it did before, and now you can log a few more LB/MIN as well.

The GM MAFT setup works well if setup right, but takes a bit more time to setup then just bolting it on.

EVO MAS works well, but is a 3" MAS. It flows over 60LB/MIN I believe, and much more after being hacked.

They will all work well, but I think the 2G MAS is easier to setup and matches your goals and turbo well. As a rule of thumb, if your maxxing out a stock 2G MAS on a stock bottom end, your pushing the bottom end decently hard. If you want to push the stock bottom end harder, just hack the 2G MAS and compensate with Dsmlink. Good luck with which ever one you choose. Just do not forget to recirculate that BOV if your going with any Mitsubishi MAS.
Later.
