Is there a way to test the MAP sensor to see if it's alright? I think that could be what is causing my fuel cut at around 4200 RPM's. Also, I have a pretty bad vibration around 3300-3400 RPM's that keeps vibrating until I shift and get the RPM's back down below 3300. I checked all the intake hoses for leaks, but haven't used any type of leak tester yet on them. Basically, I went over every single hose clamp, and looked for any visible tears in all of them, I am going to clean my intercooler tomorrow (stock) and make sure that I have all of them looked at thouroughly (sp?). Besides the intake leak (which I doubt I have) my exhaust literally rattles and I can't get the stupid secondary O2 sensor off of the pipe behind the cat, been using PB Blaster for about 2 weeks now, and it still won't come off! any suggestions/help would be awesome for any of these problems. THANKS! (Oh, and about paying the dude for his ECU, yes, he recieved his money.)

Also, the Vibration gets louder the higher up the RPM's get, it almost sounds like my exhaust mani or something is vibrating and it just keeps getting faster.....maybe my exhaust manifold is leaking and that's why I have a vibration at higher RPM's?

Turbo charged DSMs do not have MAP sensors, you are an idiot. How much boost are you running and what are your plugs gapped at? There's not enough info here for me to be able to guess why your car is running like crap.

Don't post if you have no ####ing idea. It is called a map sensor on the underhood diagram of the vfaq for 95-99 model TURBO DSM's. It is the sensor that sits in the center on top of the intake manifold, sometimes referred to as the Manifold pressure differential sensor, but more commonly referred to as the MAP sensor because it's not such a ####ing mouthful. I'm sorry, but you SUCK at life, and the internet.

Oh yeah.....you got pwned by an "idiot". Thanks for playing.

Its a MDP, not MAP, the names are not synonomous with each sensor because they are different types of sensors. Get over yourself.

Its there, basically, to test EGR function. I'd peronally look elsewhere for trouble.

Yeah you might be getting bad spark, check the plugs/wires/coil. Take a glance at your bcs lines, make sure you don't have a loose connection that might be causing you to over boost.
