As, the title States.
Some may or may NOT agree, but again this boils down to personal preference.
I have gotten to the point with my 2g, where I don't enjoy driving manual anymore for a few reasons.
-Shifter and Throw just isn't as nice as more modern day cars, especially owning a s2k it is hard to drive any other manual car and not be disappointed. Throw is short it is smooth everything about it. Yeah, it's a tough comparison but given the age and ERA of DSM's that is a good enough reason.
-Rush hour traffic sucks, and I find it will be nice to just use my foot for accelerator and brake pedal.
I find that I don't do much spirited driving in the city as much and mainly the car is my DD. I think I would just find life easier with a DD as an Auto. If I hit the track, usually it's just the drag strip and really.. I don't mind just putting the foot on the floor and lettting the transmission do the rest of the work. Turbo's and setups I will ever do wouldn't be big huge builds as most of you have. I've thought a lot about this and it has gotten me this far to ask the question and get some opinions.
Transmission would cost me $500-$700. Labor I have a friend to help swap.
Who recommends this is worth the Money, Time I have. or Would one rather go and buy a Auto GSX/Tsi AWD.
Tell me what ya think?
