Manifold and 16G turbo Should I buy it?

A guy is selling me a 2nd gen ported exhaust manifold with Buchur Racing Big 16g that is ported and clipped all for the price of $350.

Is it a good deal? What should i look for to see if the turbo is in good conditions?

Shaft play. Lightly jiggle the tip of the compressor wheel (on the compressor side of the turbo, the side opposite of the one with the wastegate flapper) to see if it moves. A very very tiny bit up and down play is just fine, but if you can easily push the the wheel inwards, you do not want it. If it is from buschur and it was clipped and ported, it is worth $300-400 on its own. Just go look at how they sell them for on the website. A ported 2g manifold usually is around $75-150

Actually dont do it lightly. You should beablt to grab that blade and pull on it hard. If it moves at all in and out do not get it. A very little side to side play is ok. The mani is not worth much.

is having the the turbo clipped good for a daily driven car?

check shaftplay. after that like the previously posts stated mani aint worth much but all in all seems like a decent deal turbo and mani.
