Found this and curious if y’all think I should jump on it dude wants 400 for the tranny that came out of it and 100 for the transfer case although I’m not sure it’s the matching one from the car. Here’s some pics. Let me know what y’all think please, not much left to the car but he wants 1000 for that as a hole. No clue on provenance or condition internally. Mainly wanted the tranny as a spare although the four bolt rear end is still under the car too. Thanks.

Looks like a 90 transmission to me. I’d just buy my transmission as a spare if I was you. :p

but all in all doesn’t seem like a super bad deal. I’d probably pull the trigger.
Don’t want a 90 😎

He said it was off the blue GB he had there when he pulled the motor. Can we tell from the serial number what year it’s from?

If this is accurate you are right Cory. 89-90. Scratch that. PM me about yours. Is that the one with the noises?

After this many years the markings dont always tell the story. The select lever isn't a 90 and that speed sensor is 2g. If anybody ever took apart my old 90s they'd find a gvr4 1st. 91 intermediate and a double cone 1/2. Count the tcase splines. If it's 22 I'd say it is kinda likely some of the guts are still 90

Grab it just for the parts i mean you are restoring the car i would love to have a spare car with extra parts. The 90 gear set I have one in my 91 94 transmission, Installed by tre, updating to the 4 spider soon. Its a shell , I would grab it.
